Step 1

Download UpgradeBot

Windows app for Revit 2026. Unzip it and double-click UpgradeBot.exe. If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.

Step 2

Run your first batch

The first time, UpgradeBot installs its Revit add-in and opens the queue. The orange bot lives in your system tray.
Add files or a folder, or right-click any .rvt in Explorer and choose Add to UpgradeBot queue. Start with copies of a few old files.
Click Set output folder, then Run queue. Revit opens by itself — the first time only, click Always Load when it asks about the add-in.
Walk away. Upgraded copies land in your output folder; the originals stay untouched.
